Charity Challenge — Rules

## Teams There are 5 teams, each with 5-6 participants and one team captain: Team Fiona, Team MJ, Team Ailbhe, Team Damien, Team Johnny. ## Roles - **Participant**: joins one team and submits a weekly activity score. - **Team Captain**: one participant per team; can see their own team's roster and who has/hasn't submitted this week. Captains do not have any extra scoring privileges. - **Sponsor**: follows the rankings and can make a one-off donation, optionally directed at a team. ## Weekly submissions Every Sunday, each participant submits one numeric activity score for that week. A week's submission window closes at the end of that same Sunday (organization time). After the deadline, no new submission or edit is accepted for that week. You can edit your score any time before the deadline; we keep a record of the original value when you do. ## How rankings are calculated - Your individual score is the sum of every weekly score you've submitted. - A week you didn't submit counts as 0 for that week — it is not an error, it just doesn't add anything. - Your team's score is the sum of its current members' individual scores. - Rankings update automatically as soon as a new score is submitted. ## Ties If two players (or two teams) end up with the exact same total, whoever reached that total *first* (the earliest submission or edit timestamp among their most recent contributing score) is ranked higher. ## Donations Sponsors can make a one-off donation through the app, optionally in support of a specific team. Donations are confirmed once payment is verified — if a payment fails or is cancelled, no donation is recorded.
